I am tired of having to ride my bike back and forward to school and work. I talked to my dad who says if I go to driving school he will help with the down payment and insurance for a car. I can't wait! This bike thing is very uncool and it's not helping in the girls department either.

I ran a search online and found several top notch schools. Most provide an online test that you can take ahead of time to see how you would do if you took the real test now. I took the online test and missed over 11 questions. I obviously need to sign up now and get started. I can't wait to go on an actual driving lesson with the instructor. Since their cars are very small I know it should be pretty easy to drive around and not make too many mistakes.

Okay so according to the online test results I needed to sign up to the longer class. There was one that was only 15sessions but with so many wrong answers I was recommended to do the 30 sessions class. Its over a hundred dollars and this is a lot but my dad says he will take care of it. With all the gas money I have saved by riding a bike instead of a car for 2 years he says that I have earned it and more.

Now all I have to do is find an insurance that is willing to work with a first time driver. I have gotten several quotes and they are super expensive, I guess teen drivers are a big menace on the road. Maybe my dad can add me to his insurance and we can get a better price. I don't want to bleed him dry of money especially as he is being so nice to me.

Well wish me luck, I start driving school on Monday. If all goes well I hope to be driving in two months. No more bike, no more hot sun hitting my face all day. I cant wait and am looking forward to it.
