I remember one time when I was younger, I signed up to be in a corporation called young drivers which was all about young people, being high standard drivers for the wealthy. You had to take a course for it, and you had to have had your license for at least a year and have valid insurance. I thought it was a little tacky when I got the 'exclusive' skip hire benefit, which was just the fact that I didn't have to go through an interview, and got hired pretty much on the spot as long as they checked my credentials and insurance and I passed the course alright.

Turned out there were a lot of young drivers looking to be in this corporation, and not only that. But all these young drivers also got the 'exclusive' privilege of only having to pass the course and have their insurance checked too, to be hired. None of us knew that though.

We all payed a considerate enter fee, which was just to supply the cost of the logo on our cars, and our uniform, for we drove people around in our own vehicle similar to a taxi cab, and we also took people around in their own vehicles for their own convenience.

It wasn't long until a lot of young drivers started getting themselves in trouble. We were told in the beginning, if we resigned from the job we would get a portion of our enter fee back for returning the uniform and the logo. When I went to quit, I couldn't believe my eyes, for nobody, not one single soul, was in any of the office cubicles. Everyone had scrammed, and I instantly called up all the other employees to share the information.

Then there was an outrage and everyone wanted to quit. We hadn't even gotten our first paycheck yet, where was everyone? We quickly learned we had all fallen for a horrible scam. One that had been successful. Who knows how many of us had fallen for this, and all those people we had worked for got our services for free. My advice? Always, and I mean always, check in on who your employers are before working.
