Wehave been living in the present house for over ten years now. It is a very nice bungalow type house, and we are very happy living here. We like the neighborhood too. The neighbors are very nice people, friendly and very helpful. They have been living here much longer than we have been, and they have been very happy. They wouldn't like us to move away to another locality either.

So, though the house is getting older, we do not like it to move to another house in another neighbourhood. We like to continue living here. So, we decided to do a complete house refurbishment. There are a number of contractors in town reputed in doing flat refurbishment and house refurbishment projects. Some companies can charge very high prices for their services. So, it is necessary to call for estimates and select the contractor who can do the job at a reasonable price.

House refurbishment can be more costly than flat refurbishment since the work can be very intricate depending on the type of building.If the project includes the basement refurbishment, it can be a huge job. Flat refurbishment is on just a single floor, whereas the house can be multi-floored.

I have one company in mind to contract for our house refurbishment.Their price has been reasonable in the jobs they have been doing. They have excellent tools and facilities to do the job. What they need however is that we provide a skip for collecting construction wastes. So, we have to hire a skip.

The company will bring a mortar mixing machine, and will prepare the mortar on site. That makes sense. That will be no problem for us as there is ample space in the backyard. So, any wastes from the mortar mixing machinehas to be collected in the skip.

So, we will contract this contractor, and will schedule the work in the week when the weather will be favorable for the outdoor work, such as mixing mortar, sawing the timber, and so forth. With the weather improving, we are sure we can have the project done in the very near future.
