DIY Heavan

It was back a few years ago that i remember when me and my partner decided to move house. We needed a bigger house as we had then got two kids but had plans to make extensions to the family. I was working for a company that dealt with waste disposal. Not the best of jobs but i liked it and i liked the people i was working with.

We managed to sell our house after just 2 weeks on the market and bought a house that had many extensions built on to it. One of those extensions were a conservatory leading on to the back garden that my partner had always nagged me about being something that she wanted. When we moved in, part of the extension was just full of stuff that we had no use for so we decided to hire a skip and just chuck the lot and start again.

The extension for the conservatory seemed huge so i had plans to make it smaller but my partner had soon become against the idea of me doing that. My co-workers from my waste disposal job came over when we moved in as we had a little house warming party. My friends and family loved the new house but couldn't see why we would have wanted such a big house. I proposed to my partner that afternoon much to the amazement of my family and my waste disposal co-workers. They soon understood that we had planned to make an extension to our family and were over the moon for us, especially as she said yes to my proposal.

Our dream extension came about a year later when my partner gave birth to a bouncing little baby girl. I decorated one of the bedrooms and bought a new cot and other furnishings to make it into a little nursery. She wasn't as quiet as the rest of the children as she never seemed to stop crying. It soon changed my plans on any further children but i know that when she gets older we'll want more. I have made extra extensions to the house and we are planning to sell the house for an even bigger one but i have grew quite attached to it so I'll leave the choice up to my partner as usual.
