DIY Heavan

I have never been someone that likes to moan about life. I love life and i love to just smile. If things go wrong or if something happens in life that shouldn't then i have always been the type of person to just shrug it off as i have always been a person that takes things as they come and i believe that everything happens for a reason.

I started a job for a mini skip hire company that i found boring but felt that i must have found the job for a reason. I go to work every morning and basically drive the lorry to companies that are doing an extension to a property or just building a property. I go and drop one of our mini skip hire skips off at the yard and wait for the call to come and collect it back again and then take it to the yard and empty it which i then take it back to the sited if needed or take it on to the next job.

Working for the mini skip hire i cant really moan about as it is a job and it pays all my bills and allows me to live in the house that i live in. I remember getting a call about a year ago to go and collect a skip that was for waste disposal and it was just filled high up with bricks and mortar which most companies would fill them with. However, i got there and chained the skip up to the lorry and it started to lift but as the lorry was lifting the skip the whole skip came crashing to the ground with the largest rumble through the florr that i had ever heard. I then had to ring my company to have a vehicle to come and help us lift the skip up to how it was supposed to be and then refill it with everything that had spilled out of the mini skip hire. It had never happened to me before and none of the chains had broke but the company were saying that i must have not clipped it on properly but i know that i had done it all right as i had probably been doing the job longer than everyone else that worked at the company.

The yard got cleared and we filled the skip and got rid and brought in the new skip. To this day i don't understand what happened that day but i do have ideas but every time i try giving my thoughts the rest of the crew just laugh but i do know it was definitely a strange thing to happen and apparently it always happens at that yard.
