Mike and his wife Jenny weredevastatedafter their house burned down. They looked for several new houses to buy, but the prices were sooutrageous! They needed a very large house to have enough area space for them two and their four children! They found a lovely small cottage close to a lake, that was just beautiful but only contained two small bedrooms. I've been working in the waste disposal services business for about three years now. You wouldn't think waste disposal was a very interesting field. But it's always fascinating to see what people have put out on their curb for waste collection. Sofas, chairs, odd pieces of artwork, all of these end up on my waste disposal route. Well, for the last month I have been working on a house refurbishment project for my cousin who just bought an older house that needs a lot of work. Refurbishment projects aren't exactly fun but I am glad to help him out. The house refurbishment is including everything in the house. Everything is going to be redone. My part of this house refurbishment is all the painting that needs to be done in the house. There is a lot of repair work that needs to be done on the walls because the owners before did not take care of the house very well. A lot of patch work to be specific. So I have to paint all the wood work also which that is probably the worst part of painting in the house. There are a total of three bedrooms in the house, one bathroom, and then the Kitchen and living room are pretty big. So there is a lot of work for me. They are also completely redoing the bathroom. They are getting a brand new toilet, bathtub and sink. They are going to re-tile the floor and also re-tile around the bathtub so it looks nice. Then I get to finish the job when I paint it so it looks fresh and brand new like pretty much the whole house. Bur refurbishment projects are fun too. When you do these projects you get to hang out with family and friends which is cool. When I work over there, there is always someone to talk to or to help me out which is cool. As for cheap skip hire and waste management, we will need a little bit of their help. We completely tore out all the wood molding around the house and all the carpet too. This will all be going to waste management including all the stuff in the bathroom and in the kitchen that is going to be torn out and thrown away. I am getting really annoyed with our bin men! It is their job to collect waste from people's wheelie bins and bin cupboards. That is what they get paid to do. So take my rubbish already! The Christmas before last was the worst! We have a bin cupboard and normally we do put our rubbish into wheelie bin sacks, but we didn't have any and the bin men were not leaving us any, so we were putting our rubbish into normal sized bin bags. 3 normal sized bin bags are the equivalent to 1 wheelie bin sack, so they are supposed to take 3 normal bags. Our bin cupboard had about 7 bags in there. I knew they wouldn't take all 7 but thought they would at least take the 3 they get paid for but, surprise surprise, they didn't. The waste was building up and the bin cupboard started to wreak. I was ill at the time and couldn't get to our local waste management site so when the waste cupboard was bursting I had no alternative but to start putting bin bags onto our balcony. My partner works 9 to 5pm everyday, and the waste management site was closed by the time he had finished work. After the new year, I had had enough. We had that much rubbish our balcony was literally half the size due to all the bin bags.

For as long as i could remember i always admired builders and everything that they could do, imagine been able to actually create a house or a building it was truly amazing to me to see this process whenever i walked past a building site and seen work being done or a flat refurbishment, they were all interesting, i thought about the big process it must be to create this, when i left school i got a career as a trainee carpenter and loved every moment of it. My parents really agreed on this career for me so I did not complain and learned as much as a could with my companion who was an older and more experience carpenter and showed me everything i needed to know and more to make it as a good carpenter, i was lucky. Sometimes when he had a flat refurbishment job he would take me along to witness the whole process and of course the after part which is sorting out all the waste and that it has to be done, it is very important and the end of every job to recycle and clear the waste especially when doing a flat refurbishment job, that is what he thought me and to this day i remember it, I have stayed on at that career and everyone is still proud of me, i am most thankful to my guide though, without him I would have had to learn all on my own and it is doubtful I would have been have the success that i am now without him and his great guidance to me, i thank him for that to this day. Now days there are many self proclaimed gurus and reformists. I know of a certain well placed individual who proclaims himself guru of waste disposal services. Well today I am taking the class to the waste disposal site. We have been studying this in class and decided to make a trip to see what it is actually like.
