We sent away our mad granny a few months ago, sent her away to an old

We sent away our mad granny a few months ago, sent her away to an old people's home because she couldn't look after herself any more. Or the house, actually. She lived all on her own, and she'd been living on her own for the last ten years, since our grandad had passed away. We didn't go visit her house often, normally we invited her down to live with us for a day or two, but when she went insane we had to go visit. That was when we saw in what a state her house had fallen into.
Well, the first thing we did when she was moved into the old people's home was get on the phone to the Midi skip hire people. We threw away all of the moth eaten carpets and the tea stained sofas. The Midi skip hire people had never seen so much stuff! They nearly couldn't fit all of the ruined furniture into their skip!
Then, a few months later dear old granny got kicked out of the old people's home for being rude to the other residents. We had already sold her house by that point, so there was a problem on our hands: she had nowhere to live. It seemed she would have to move in with us.
We had to extend the house tomake room for her. The extension building would be big enough for her to live in and sleep in. In order to start the extension we would have to knock down a couple of walls and smash out a couple of windows. house extensions in the modern world do cost such a large sum of money and make so much waste!
So we called up the midi skip hire company again, and they were pleased to work for us once again. They said that we made very good tea. They weren't quite so fond of the old granny as they were of the tea, mind you. They tended to run for their lives if they saw her appear at the window!
It took three weeks for the Midi skip hire company to finish the extension to our house. It looked wonderful once it was done. On the twenty first day they packed up their bags and left us.
Now the mad granny lives with us full time. Apart from her deciding to go to the toilet in the cupboard every now and again, she is a great extension to the family!
