‘No, you must get a job first. You cannot buy more bins for your skiphire companyif you don’t have the money’ Joe was patiently explaining to his sister JaCee about his favorite computer game, Waste Story – Skip for Hire Business Building. He was happy, as he enjoyed teaching his kid sister. Furthermore, Mum had lifted the ban on the game, ever since Grandma joined him in playing the game.
Grandma herself was a computer whiz, even his older brother Jon said so. Grandma traveled around with her laptop, and talked to people all over the world. He had watched Grandma talking with her friends through online chat, even saw them through the video camera. Yes, Grandma is real cool!
Mum had stopped him from playing the game, ever since he and Jon fought regularly over the game. But Grandma did not mind losing - they had never fought over a skiphire customer, new offices or skip bins. Grandma said that the game undoubtedly taught him about business!
Now JaCee had approached him about the game, and he was trying to enlighten her. But girls are girls! She was not interested when he explained the details or mechanics of the games. She even uttered 'yucks' when he tried to explain about buying waste disposal trucks and waste recycling plants, which would get him more customers, business and points. Why are girls so silly?
Joe was buying his third skip hire facility, and proceeded to move on to avoid the threats posed by competitors, health and environmental authorities. JaCee was feeling increasingly bored with all these trucks, bins and skiphire whatnot's! She did not understand why anyone wants to work with rubbish! Didn't Mummy always say not to keep any rubbish in your room? So why is Joe so interested this game about garbage? She also did not understand why Grandma loves the game too. Each time she visited them, she would join Joe in his game. But they never quarrel; it is not like when Jon played the game with Joe. They argued long and loud, until Mummy threatened to throw them out in the garden! Jacee started fidgeting and playing with the keyboard! Joe soon noticed and asked her to pay attention - 'don't you want to be rich and own a skiphire business? Makes lots of money?'
'No' JaCee retorted. 'I'd rather be a carpenter, and let people take care of my rubbish'
